The Maschinen- und Betriebshilfsring Breisgau e. V. with its 100% subsidiary Maschinenring Breisgau GmbH is based in Emmendingen Kollmarsreute.

The Maschinenring is a service provider in rural areas, acting as a regional partner for farmers, authorities, companies and private individuals. With almost 2,000 members, Maschinenring Breisgau is one of the largest machinery rings in Germany and is active in the districts of Emmendingen and Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald.

In addition to the procurement of machinery, the main tasks of the ring include the hiring out of workers, services in the municipal and private sector, such as winter services or the maintenance of green spaces, and the organisation of farm helpers or family assistance.

Currently, the Ring employs a total of over 50 staff and, at peak times, over 300 staff in personnel services.
